DIRTY PROJECTORS - RISE ABOVE
This album by Dirty Projectors has quickly grown on me and lately I've been listening to it daily. All the songs are covers of songs from Black Flag's Damaged album. The Dirty Projectors reinterpret the hardcore songs with harmonies, odd vocal styles, and music that sounds like 1970's Yes mixed with King Sunny Ade. It may take a couple listenings but I highly recommend this album. Listen.
